Our Founder

Michael Mīsner
Managing Director
I am a veteran Naval Officer and a 20+ year insights executive who has been building and leading competitive and market intelligence teams for over 2 decades, with MI and CI leadership positions at Bank of America, Thomson Reuters, SABIC, and Cabot Corp to name a few. As an accomplished speaker and trainer, I leveraged my years of experience creating CI (and counter-CI) programs, learning new competitive landscapes, forecasting competitor moves, developing mitigation and capitalization strategies, conducting win/loss and trade show competitive intelligence, training sales and marketing teams on the benefits and pitfalls of battle cards. A long-time expert with primary and secondary collection techniques and analytical tools, I also authored, with John McGonagle, an authoritative work on the changing landscape in CI.
Benjamin Mīsner
Managing Director
Benjamin began his career at a Houston-based family office as an investment analyst, leading due diligence on commercial real estate assets, enhancing holdings infrastructure, and providing business intelligence to guide investment decisions. He also supported several biotech investments, driving business development and capital-raising initiatives. He later worked in technology, including health-tech startups and SaaS companies, where he focused on go-to-market strategy, revenue growth, and scaling business operations.
Beyond startups, Benjamin has supported holding companies in deal sourcing and technology business development, delivering strategic insights, brokering partnerships, and driving growth across multiple sectors. He now focuses on applying this expertise to support Odin’s clients.
